Lindsay Lohan fired the lawyer that always saves her.. Will she go back to jail TODAY?

Lindsay Lohan is due back in court today (hearing is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. CT). This is her 20^th trip to court in the last six years.

She has to face the judge for those charges stemming from lying to the cops but she’s not going to have her usual savior by her side. She fired the attorney that has kept her butt out of jail, Shawn Holley, just the day before her scheduled court date. She hired this dirty attorney named Mark Heller to rep her instead.

Mark was suspended from practice for 5 years for some sort of misconduct. The New York Times described him as a ‘menace to the public’ but he does have cred with a few ‘celebs’. He handled Jon Gosselin’s divorce and he was also hired by the Son of Sam serial killer, David Berkowitz, way back when.

Now Lindsay says that she didn’t fire Shawn because she’s like a second mother to her, I guess she’s the only woman who has more excuses for her than her own messed up mother, but her signature was on the letter that was handed to Shawn as she was on the way to courthouse to get her out of trouble yet again.

But maybe Lindsay ditched her because her she couldn’t afford her anymore? She reportedly owes Shawn $300k in unpaid legal fees and hasn’t made a payment in more than six months. Mark is either representing her for free or at a very reduced rate but he doesn’t have the stellar reputation with the judges that Shawn had.

Shawn offered up rehab in lieu of jail for Linds. The prosecutors agreed to keep her out of jail if she went to lockdown rehab for six months but Shawn was fired before she could seal the deal.

She better hope this shady lawyer can keep her out of jail.
