Will Taylor Swift ever EVER forgive Michael J. Fox?

Actually she already has… Shortly after Taylor’s army of tweens unleashed Twitter-war on poor clueless Michael J. Fox, Swifty issued the following cease and desist tweet:

“Hey everybody, Michael J. Fox got in touch with me today and we are good. Thank you for having my back.”

Of course, Michael J. Fox just simply said to reporters, what we all say behind Taylor’s back or on message boards–that her career-building strategy of writing songs about every guy she dates, is immature and bound to bite her in the butt.

Michael apparently regretted making that comment publicly though, so he gave Taylor a call to clear the air and offer her a formal apology.

But, that wasn’t Taylor’s only uncomfortable phone call this week. She also received one from Harry Styles… He too wanted to clear the air. However, this was NOT his idea. If it were up to him, he’d have just blown her off (like probably all the others). But, One Direction’s founder and manager, Simon Cowell, forced Harry to reach out to Swifty! I wish it was to teach the lads how to be stand-up kind of guys, but sadly Simon was just worried the band would lose some of its popularity in the U.S. The call seemed to go about as awkwardly as you’d expect…

An inside source said, “Harry spoke to Taylor on the phone while on a trip to Ghana with the One Direction boys this week… Taylor was keen to meet face to face and talk things through but Harry felt there was nothing left to be said…Harry told Taylor he didn’t hold grudges and hoped things wouldn’t be awkward when they saw each other. Taylor seemed to listen, but insisted there were still things they needed to discuss. The air has been cleared between them… and they’re due to see each other at next month’s Brit Awards, although friends think Taylor may pull out.”
