Janet Jackson put the end to the engagement rumors.. It was rumored that she accepted her boyfriend’s proposal and they were planning a big wedding… but to squash those rumors, she just flat out admitted that they are already married.
She secretly married her boyfriend of two years, this Qatari businessman named Wissam Al Mana, some time last year.
And she’s just now fessing up to it? Normally she doesn’t admit to the marriage until after the divorce like she did with her two previous husbands.
Janet and her billionaire hubby released a statement saying, “The rumors regarding an extravagant wedding are simply not true. Last year we were married in a quiet, private, and beautiful ceremony. Our wedding gifts to one another were contributions to our respective favorite children’s charities. We would appreciate that our privacy is respected and that we are allowed this time for celebration and joy.”
When did she have time for a secret wedding? Her family seemed to be in turmoil all last year.. But I guess when those nuptials call….
Other wedding bell news- Christina Applegate married her baby daddy, Martyn Lenoble of the band Porno for Pyros. Great band name, automatically like the guy. They have been together for four years and have a 2-year old daughter.
And Andy Samberg is officially off the market. He popped the question to his girlfriend of five years, singer-songwriter Joanna Newsom.
Congrats famous peeps but I’m still waiting on the big wedding.. Brad and Angelina likely got hitched on O ‘Holy Night and we will never see those pics but I wanna see Jennifer saying I do to Justin in a white maternity wedding dress!
