One Direction named ‘Worst Band of the Year’!

I know a lot of little girls that will dispute this award. I can already hear their shrill screams now.

One Direction was named the ‘Worst Band of the Year’ at the NME Awards (New Music Express) in London.

And this wasn’t the first time they were awarded that dishonor. This is their second year in a row earning that title from the NME awards. They aren’t the only band that’s gotten that award in consecutive years. The Jonas Brothers earned the Worst Band title for the previous three years in a row.. then they took the hint and quit making music.

Harry Styles earned an additional award too. He was also named ‘Villain of the Year’.

• That award had gone to Justin Bieber last year.. and I think it should have gone to him again with all those unforgivable fashion choices that he’s been making lately.

He acknowledged his newly earned(although I’m sure Taylor Swift has told him the same thing) title and tweeted, “And thank you to @NME for my award tonight. Gotta take the rough with the smooth eh?”
