Barbara Walters is finally ready to call it quits.
She’s 83 years old and had to take some extended time off this year, after cutting her head during a fall at the British Ambassador’s house and getting chicken pox this year.
It was rumored that she would be leaving The View, alongside Joy Behar and Elisabeth Hasselbeck but she’s ready to give up more than the show. She’s going to retire from it all next year.
Barbara has been joking about retiring every year since the Clinton administration . . . this time she’s serious about it.
Sources say that she’s going to make some kind of official announcement about her retirement in the next few weeks.
