For ten years, everyone has been saying that 74 year old Morgan Freeman was dating his 27 year old step-granddaughter Edena Hines, who is the granddaughter of his first wife. Recently it came out that after 10 years of dating, Edena demanded that he put a ring on it and they are planning some big wedding.
Morgan has never denied or addressed his relationship until now. According to his rep, he initially chose to ignore the stories and not ‘dignify’ them but decided it was time to address it now that these reports are getting picked up by the mainstream media. Morgan released a statement saying, “The recent reports of any pending marriage or romantic relationship of me to anyone are defamatory fabrications from the tabloid media designed to sell papers. What is even more alarming is that these fabrications are now being picked up by the legitimate press as well.” And Edina released a denial statement too, saying, “These stories about me and my grandfather are not only untrue, they are also very hurtful to me and my family.”
Coachella Music Festival is kicking off in Indio, California this weekend and they snagged some big name artists to perform, including Nate Dogg.
Nate died last year but he will be appearing as a hologram to perform several songs on stage with Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Kurupt, Warren G and Daz Dillinger. Nate’s going to be hanging out backstage too. His tour rider asked for a large room for the projector with no visual obstructions… And a 12-pack of Heineken.
It’s also rumored that Tupac Shakur will make an appearance during ‘California Love’.

Amy Winehouse passed away last summer from alcohol poisoning but she’s still in contact with her family.
Her father Mitch spoke about it yesterday as they launched the US branch of the Amy Winehouse foundation in New York. He revealed that the whole family still talks to Amy through a psychic and she is delighted that they are helping others through this foundation. Mitch said, ”Amy is fully behind everything that we’re doing and she’s up in heaven waving her magic wand.”
They have already raised over $1 million in her honor to help disadvantaged youth.

A source close to the Kardashian clan said that mama thinks Kanye is a big step up from soon-to-be ex husband Kris Humphries. She thinks dating Kanye is great for Kim’s career because she’s finally moved on from the no-name sports players to a world-wide multimillionaire superstar!
The source said, “Kris Jenner is so happy that her daughter is dating Kanye, and she wants to make sure she maximizes all the attention Kim is going to get, as well as the financial opportunities this is going to open up for her now.”…. Well, mommy knows best, right?
Oliver Stone’s got a new flick coming out this summer called ‘Savages’.
Blake Lively plays the girlfriend of two drug dealers (Taylor Kitsch from John Carter and Aaron Johnson) that gets kidnapped by the Mexican drug cartel. Salma Hayek plays some mean woman associated with the cartel. Also starring John Travolta, Uma Thurman, and Emile Hirsch.
