John Travolta’s lawyer is already considering their case a victory after John Doe #1 dropped the assault case.
The lawyer released a statement saying, “My client is completely vindicated by Doe #1 dropping his claims and dismissing his lawsuit. We fully expect that my client will similarly be vindicated with respect to Doe #2, as well as with respect to any other person who makes meritless claims against John Travolta.”
And John Doe #2’s evidence isn’t quite as damning as he made it out to be. The Atlanta based masseur claimed to have emailed his boss detailing the events that took place while Travolta was getting handsy with him. The only email that was sent on that particular date was a resignation letter, stating that after the ‘events that took place today’ he was quitting his position due to the lack of support from the management team. There was no mention of Travolta or any specific events. The lack of evidence is what made John Doe #2 want to settle for $250k instead of holding out for the initial $2mil he was seeking in damages.
UPDATE- John Doe #1 isn’t walking away that easily. He hired famed attorney Gloria Allred (she repped all of Tiger Woods mistresses) and said just because he got the dates wrong doesn’t mean there is no case.

The Avengers is breaking box office records and one actor in particular will be benefiting nicely from it.
The movie pulled in more a billion internationally after just a week in the theaters. Most of the actors (Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth) only got between $2-3mil for the movie, but Scarlett Johansson and Samuel L. Jackson earned about $6mil since they signed on to do more Marvel movies.
But the big winner is Robert Downey Jr. His lawyer negotiated his deal after the success of the first Iron Man movie to where he would earn a nice paycheck anytime he played that character. So Robert is gonna pocket about $50mil for his role in the movie.

One Direction’s Harry Styles wants to be known for more than just being a teenage heartthrob. He is ready to establish himself as a serious actor by taking on a big role. He’s auditioning for the role of Mick Jagger in the upcoming film ‘Exile on Main St.!’
The movie is going to spotlight Mick Jagger’s volatile relationship with Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards and is due for release next year. Richard Branson is providing the backing for the movie and he’s pushing for Harry to get the part. A source said, “Harry on stage can pass as a dead ringer for Jagger. If he can transform this image into a movie role then he’s going to be a serious candidate to get the part. The signs so far are good.”

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie finally decided it was time to get married, mostly because of all the pressure that their six kids were putting on them. But there may be another reason that Brad is in a hurry to make their relationship official.
According to a British tabloid, Angelina is a part of a new U.N. mission to take on South American drug lords and he’s worried about her safety. The source said, “Brad’s terrified that something bad will happen to her. It’s why he wanted to cement things with a wedding.”
This isn’t the first time that Angie’s put herself in danger for a mission. Earlier this year, she wrote Brad a farewell letter in case she didn’t survive a certain mission. The mission was so risky that it required a lengthy briefing and everyone had to write down their blood type. Angie admitted that she wrote a letter that Brad would find in case she didn’t make it back home.

Here’s a quick update on a few lesser celebrities. Tiger Woods #1 mistress, Rachel Uchitel, welcomed her first child with her new husband. She and Matt Hahn announced the arrival of their baby girl, Wyatt Lilly.
And shockingly, 52-year old Linda Hogan and her 23-year old boyfriend Charlie Hill have broken up after 4 cougariffic years together. We really thought they were gonna make it. Check out a pic of Linda and her ex-boytoy now!
