Katy Perry and Russell Brand didn’t sign a prenup when they got married, so Russell’s divorce could be a big pay day for him.
According to Forbes magazine, Katy raked in $44mil between May of 2010 to 2011. Russell is entitled to half of her earnings during their 14 month marriage, which means he could walk away with more than $20 million.
But Russell doesn’t want any of her money! His lawyer filed the final divorce papers on Tuesday, stating that Russell doesn’t want any kind of settlement. The lawyer said that he is happy to walk away with the money he earned, even though it’s far less than what he could have made off of Katy.
Their divorce will not be final until June 30th due to the six month waiting period.
Jennifer Aniston is doing the promotional rounds for her movie Wanderlust that comes out later this month. That’s the movie where she met her current beau, Justin Theroux. Some people say they started hooking up on the set even though he was still a taken man at that time, but Jenn and Justin claim it didn’t happen until months later when he was single.
Jennifer recently talked to InStyle magazine and mentioned one of the biggest misconceptions about her… That she’s in a twisted love/hate triangle with Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. She said that everyone wants to think that there’s a feud there and it’s a headline that won’t ever go away, but it’s a story that has nothing to do with reality. She said that the media runs with this ongoing saga just to make money.
But hasn’t Jennifer kinda profited off those stories too? She got to play the victim for many years and was given the good girl image… Plus, it’s been seven years and she still brings up Brad’s name in interviews.

The ratings for American Idol are significantly down this year, and they blame it on the other singing competition shows that are “feeding off of their talent pool and audience”.
This season of American Idol has only brought in 18.9 million viewers compared to 24.9 mil last year. Idol’s executive producer Nigel Lythgoe complained that The Voice and X-Factor are overloading America with singing competitions and that sharing a network with X-Factor makes it feel like there are two seasons of Idol on Fox.
He took another swipe at both of the shows, saying that The Voice is “is fed by talent that hasn’t quite made it or is trying to come back” and that “it’s obvious that X Factor didn’t really know what it wanted to do.” But he says that he isn’t worried about the mediocre competition because American Idol has been going strong for 11 years, and it’s still America’s #1 show.
There are several different reports out about Demi Moore right now.
Some sources are reporting that she is at the Cirque Lodge in Utah, the same rehab center that Brooke Mueller is staying at to get help with her addictions. Radar Online is reporting that Demi is not allowed to look at a scale while she is there since she is being treated for anorexia.
But TMZ claims that Demi is not at the Cirque Lodge and may not even be in a rehab. They say that no one really knows where she is at right now. She hasn’t been seen in L.A. since her whip-it induced medical emergency.
