Well the New Girl actress did sing the National Anthem at Game Four of the World Series on Sunday in Arlington, Texas and then skipped the game but she had a good excuse!
Zooey tweeted to her fans from the airport before she headed back to LA: “Would have loved to have watched the whole game but I had to catch a plane so I can go to work tomorrow. That’s all guys. I’m not a jerk.”
I would say work is a pretty good excuse!
“I started thinking about that in relation to social media and media today. The threshold to have literature printed and distributed — the cost structure went down to zero dollars. Thereby, there is no gatekeeper of the truth. We are our own editors, and our own publishers. We are our own printers. Therefore people can bastardize the truth in any way, shape or truth they want.”
This is Ashton’s first vocalization since the news surfaced of his infidelity. Ashton ironically self publishes the video while speaking in a low voice about the integrity of social media in this society. He says “We really have to take it upon ourselves to instill a level of honesty in our works and the media we create and we share with each other. And be certain we are doing our own diligence to ensure what we’re saying is for the benefit of another…using our full capacity to share the truth.”
Ashton seems to be hinting at the obvious allegations of cheating but skirts around actually speaking about the claims. Although his video isn’t really a rant, it is being compared to his Two and a Half Men predecessor Charlie Sheen’s crazy Tiger’s Blood/Sheen’s Corner postings from earlier this year.
You can watch the entire Ashton video rant here!.
Her new movie of course! In the Land of Blood and Honey is Angie’s directorial debut and the films trailer has just been released!
Angie just didn’t direct this movie she wrote it as well. The film takes place in amidst the mid-90s war in Bosnia, telling the story of the tumultuous relationship between a Serbian rape camp administrator and a Bosnian-Muslim woman and war victim, according to the Huffington Post.
The film hits theaters on December 23rd
