Jenna’s Fashion Meter- Comic con styles take on a Kardashian

With no big red carpet events this week, my pick for best dressed happens to have a more casual vibe.
Comic con has been going on in San Diego and all the big stars come out to promote their latest projects and get to dress it down a little bit. Personally, I prefer this kind of style over ridiculous dresses that most of us could never pull off. I couldn’t decide between two ladies who I think are possibly the most attractive women on this earth. They are in a movie together and killed it with their style this week. Kate Beckinsale in leather pants…in the summer…is flawless. So this means I can pull my leather pants out right now? Not sure how I would get them off since I’m sweating right now just thinking about it but I will wait for a cool under 100 degree evening to do so. Jessica Biel normally misses the mark, but apparently locking JT down has helped her fashion sense. I love the all white with the neon shoes and nails. I’m inspired to do something similar tonight!! On to the worst dressed of the week. Kim Kardashian is always super fashionable, but then again she never really takes risks. Enter Kanye. Now Kim is acting all Paris Fashion Week with him by her side and this is just a hideous look. Did Kanye throw up on it? I can’t quite figure out the whole giant lady parts-looking flower on the boob thing. A rule for dressing should always be: If Bjork would wear it, you probably shouldn’t. This isn’t even a good risk. There’s no way a straight boyfriend would put his girlfriend in something like that, that’s all I’m sayin…

Total Recall teaser (VIDEO)

Total Recall is getting a remake and we have the first look at the trailer right here.

Colin Farrell is the new Arnold Schwarzenegger. He plays a factory worker that begins to suspect that he is a spy but he’s not sure whose side he is supposed to be on. The movie also stars Jessica Biel, Kate Beckinsale (maybe one of them will be the three-boobed lady?!?), John Cho and Ethan Hawke.

The plot is suppose to be different from the 90’s version but it still has the same mixture of fantasy and reality.

The movie doesn’t hit theaters until August 3rd and the official trailer won’t be released until this Sunday (4/1), but you can take your first glimpse at the teaser trailer right here.

Weekend Box Office

1-     Underworld: Awakening- Kate Beckinsale enjoyed another spot at #1 this week. She’s also in Contraband, which took the first spot last week and now this week, she returned back to the #1 spot in Underworld. The movie opened with $25.4 million.

2-     Red Tails- George Lucas financed this film about the Tuskegee Airmen starring Cuba Gooding Jr. and Terrance Howard. The movie debuted at $13.4mil.

3-     Contraband- Mark Wahlberg’s action movie fell 50% this week. It only pulled in $12.2 million, but it’s made $46.1 million in ten days. It is expected to finish with $70 mil.

4-     Extremely Loud and Close- This 9/11 drama starring Sandra Bullock and Tom Hanks is hoping for a Best Picture nod from the Academy but so far it has not been a consistent part of the awards conversation. It only pulled in $10.5 million.

5-     Haywire- This thriller debuted Gina Carano, a Mixed Martial Arts champion that is getting compared to Angelina Jolie. It made $9mil on its debut weekend.

Kate Beckinsale is back in action in the official trailer for her new film, Underworld: Awakening!

The next installment of the franchise centers around when human forces discover the existence of the Vampire and Lycan clans, a war to eradicate both species commences. The vampire warrioress Selene (Beckinsale) leads the battle against humankind.

Underworld Awakening hits theaters January 20, 2012!
