The Billboard Music Awards went down last night! Tracy Morgan was the host and he didn’t seem that familiar with the stars. Did you notice that he kept calling Selena Gomez ‘Celine’? He even referred to Lil Wayne as ‘Little Wayne’. Common mistake amongst us outside of the rap game but a host at a major award show should have gotten that right.
But Tracy was the least interesting person of the night.. There was a lot of drama! Here are some of the highlights.
- Taylor Swift, who took home six awards, admitted who she was in a relationship the longest with.
- Justin Bieber was given the very first-ever Milestone Award and he was shocked by the crowd’s reaction. There were some people cheering but they were drowned out by all the booing. He felt that he needed to justify his accomplishments in his speech but he just came out sounding arrogant. Selena later comforted him backstage with a kiss on the cheek.
- He said, “I’m 19 years old, I think I’m doing a pretty good job and basically, from my heart, I really wanna say it should really be about the music . . . It should be about the craft, the craft that I’m making. This is not a gimmick. I’m an artist, and I should be taken seriously and all this other bull should not be spoken of.”
- Kid Rock seemed a little messed up when he went on stage to present an award and he went into a rant about artists lip-synching. Because, you know, Kid Rock is a for real rock star or country artist or whatever the hell he is.
- And Miguel impaled some poor lady with his crotch when he didn’t successfully clear a jump from the stage to the catwalk. Viewers were concerned that the lady was injured. “Did Miguel” started trending on Twitter. Miguel later tweeted an apology, saying that he was just caught up in the moment and the lady, whose name was Khyati, is okay. Khyati also joined him backstage for an interview.

Lil Wayne was out at the strip club Wednesday night but his fun night got cut short after Trick Daddy started beef with him.
They were all at the King of Diamonds when, according to sources, Lil Wayne started getting a bad vibe from Trick’s posse so he decided to take off. Lil Wayne was walking out of the door with Mack Maine when someone from Trick Daddy’s posse threw a lit cigarette in Weezy’s dreads.
Before an epic Chris Brown/ Drake brawl could go down, security stepped in and ushered Lil Wayne out of the door.
Trick Daddy has had beef with Lil Wayne ever since he dissed the Miami Heat back in February. Trick Daddy took offense to this because he claims to be the Mayor of Dade County and has been trashing Weezy on Twitter ever since.
The strip club owner released a statement saying, “It’s sad they had to revisit a situation that was Internet beef … while surrounded by naked girls.”

If you’re a huge Lil’ Wayne fan, rest assured, he’s fine. Well…more than fine. He made a video for all his fans and thanked everyone for their prayers while he was in a near-death coma last week.
He started off his heart-felt “thank you” by saying, “What’s poppin’ ya’ll? Tunechi in this bi**ch!” In the classy “thank you” video, he continued by saying, “I just wanna say thank ya to all ya’ll for ya’ll prayers and ya’ll concerns and all that. I swear to God I felt that love when I was layed up in that mutha****** hospital bed.”

Tunechi also went on to say that he is dropping a new album on March 26! The name of the album is “I’m Not A Human Being II.” He is also announced his tour with his fellow rapper friends, and that’s when T.I. comes in. After that nothing is understandable…so check out the video!

After being in critical condition in the hospital for 6 days, Lil Wayne has finally been released.
Lil Wayne had been suffering seizures but he topped that off with a codeine overdose after downing too much sizzurp. That caused more seizures and he was rushed to the hospital. They had to pump his stomach three times to get all of the drugs out of his system.
He spent the next several days in ICU. Finally, he was moved to a regular room and was seen walking around the hospital.
Now Lil Wayne has been discharged from the hospital. Mack Maine, the president of Wayne’s label Young Money, tweeted yesterday, “[Lil Wayne] has been officially been released and is headed home…God is great.”
Sources say that Lil Wayne feels a lot better but is still a little weak. He intends on laying low until he makes a full recovery.
