Newly married Drew Barrymore just became a mommy! She and art consultant Will Kopelman tied the knot at the beginning of June.. Don’t do the math, she was already pregnant when she got married.
She gave birth to a baby girl last Wednesday. They named her Olive Barrymore Kopelman. Some made the connection that Drew voiced the character of Olive in a 1999 TV special, Olive the other reindeer, but I doubt that job was the inspiration behind her firstborn’s name.
She kept her delivery private but will she keep the baby pictures to herself? She did sell her wedding pics to People so Drew isn’t above selling her pictures… Let’s wait and see how we get our first look at Olive.
Leave a commentDrew Barrymore sold her wedding pics and story to People Magazine.. This sorta surprises me. Drew is usually more of a private person than that. She never sold (or confirmed) her baby announcement, just let her growing belly do the talking. Plus, she’s loaded and hubby Will Kopelman comes from a very wealthy family so it’s not like they were hurting for money. Wonder why she decided to share her wedding for profit?
But she did and now we get to finally look at her dress.. First thoughts- Eww. It was a Jewish ceremony and typically the bride is supposed to be modest and covered up, but what’s up with that collar and long sleeves? I understand that she had to cover up that baby bump but it’s not like her arms and chest are going pop out rich little babies too.
Regardless of our feelings, Drew was happy with her choices. The beaming bride said, “The day was perfect. Everyone we love and care about was there. It was as fun and meaningful as we ever could have hoped.” Check out another cover here!
Leave a commentWill Kopelman made Drew Barrymore an honest woman on Saturday. The two got married at her home in Montecito, California in front of 200 guests. It was a Jewish ceremony, officiated by the groom’s family Rabbi, and the ceremony lasted about 45 minutes.
Drew wore a custom made white Chanel dress with a black satin belt, maybe to help cover up that baby bump.
Cameron Diaz, Jimmy Fallon and his wife, Reese Witherspoon and Jim Toth and Busy Phillips were among some of the celebrity guests. Drew chose an 80’s tribute band for the reception and the party went on until around 2 a.m. The newly married couple hopped in a Mercedes decorated with streamers and roses and took off.
This makes marriage #3 for Drew. She had two short lived marriages. First she married a bar owner back in ’94 and that lasted for two months. Then she married Tom Green back in ’02 and that lasted 5 months. See some wedding pics below!

A source told Us Weekly that she has picked a summer date for her wedding because she wants to be married before the baby comes but doesn’t want to be Jessica Simpson big in her white dress. And she’s already found her wedding gown! She picked a Chanel gown during a recent trip to Paris with her fiancé Will Kopelman.

Back in November, her friends were blabbing to the media that Drew was eager to get married and start having kids. Just the next month, her boyfriend of a year, Will Kopelman, popped the question to her over the Christmas holidays. She accepted his proposal, and they haven’t made a lot of wedding plans just yet… Maybe it’s because they are putting the wedding on hold until after she has their baby?
Just yesterday, TMZ spotted them walking out of a doctor’s office, and Drew was holding what appeared to be some sonogram photos.
So now the pregnancy rumors have started and we just have to wait for a baby announcement. Today is Drew’s 37th birthday, so it would be a great day to share the news!
