Everyone is applauding Angelina Jolie for revealing that she had a preventative double mastectomy to lessen her chances of getting breast cancer.
Since coming out, CNN host Zoraida Sambolin fessed up that she has breast cancer and Barbara Walters admitted that she had her ovaries removed as a preventative measure.
But the person who is the most proud of her for coming forward is her partner, Brad Pitt.
Brad said, “I’m quite emotional about it, of course. She could have stayed absolutely private about it and I don’t think anyone would have been none the wiser with such good results. But it was really important to her to share the story and that others would understand it doesn’t have to be a scary thing. In fact, it can be an empowering thing, and something that makes you stronger and us stronger.”
He also said that he was proud that she kept her humanitarian commitments around the world just weeks after undergoing the surgery.

Angelina Jolie got a boob job! But it wasn’t for vanity purposes; it was actually a preemptive measure to prevent breast cancer.
Angelina found out that she has the BRCA1 gene, which is considered a breast cancer gene, and it puts her at an 87% risk of getting breast cancer and 50% chance of getting ovarian cancer. Considering that her mother died of cancer, she decided to be proactive for the sake of her children so she got a double mastectomy. She went through three months of medical procedures that just wrapped up a few weeks ago. The final step was getting implants put in.
She praised their work, saying, “There have been many advances in this procedure in the last few years, and the results can be beautiful.”
Then she said that Brad Pitt was by her side through it all. She said, “I am fortunate to have a partner who is so loving and supportive. Brad was [with me] for every minute of the surgeries. We managed to find moments to laugh together. We knew this was the right thing to do for our family and that it would bring us closer. And it has. On a personal note, I do not feel any less of a woman. I feel empowered that I made a strong choice that in no way diminishes my femininity.”
And she said that the reason that she decided to go public is because women may not be aware of their risks of getting cancer. She wanted to share her experience to urge others to get tested and consider their options.

Apparently, Angelina was at home gabbing away on the phone with her ex-Billy Bob Thornton, when the conversation took a dirty turn (not surprising).
National Enquirer says Angelina confessed to Billy Bob “her love life with Brad had gone cold” and that she misses “the wild, passionate sex she’d had with (not Billy Bob, but) Colin [Farrell] .” Angelina went so far as to claim “Colin was the best lover she’d ever had.”
Coincidentally, Brad, who had just gone out for the day, suddenly reappeared in their bedroom…he forgot his wallet…but he apparently has NOT forgot what he overheard his fiancé saying…
Enquirer reports, “Brad demanded Angie tell him everything about her relationship with Colin. She told Brad that she fell in love with Colin because he was dangerous and spontaneous. She also copped to sending Colin sexy pictures, dirty voice-mails and sexually explicit letters during their fling. Angie admitted that she had hoped for a future, including marriage and kids, with Colin, but he wasn’t ready. She couldn’t deny to Brad that he was her second choice! … she thrives on making him jealous.”
“Ever since then, he’s been on a drunken rampage – consuming copious amounts of his favorite beer and red wine…he’s showed no signs of slowing down on the booze. He’s been drinking to forget about the image of Angie and Colin together.”
Now, Brad isn’t so sure about marrying a woman who finds him so/so in bed…he’d also prefer that she never talk to Colin Farrell again. Hmmm…I wonder who could have leaked the story…maybe a bitter ex who Angie did NOT name as the ‘best she ever had?’

Typical typical Grammy Awards. Snooze fest central. How can the greatest night in music be so boring?
The performances were so raw and great… but it was predictable. It wasn’t even shocking that Chris Brown and Rihanna were sitting together or that she was wearing a maybe engagement ring. See closeups of that engagement bling HERE.
From Taylor Swift dancing around with weird Alice in Wonderland creatures, to having FUN. in the rain, to Carrie Underwood‘s dress lighting up, it just didn’t have the WOW factor it needed.
Sure Frank Ocean, Mumford and Sons, The Black Keys and Gotye won some awards, but what was the best moment? Probably when Frank Ocean won Best Urban Contemporary Album-who was up against Chris Brown. Did anyone else see the look on Chris’ face? Who’s ready for another brawl?
J.Lo popping out the Angelina Jolie leg, Katy Perry in mint green, vavavoom Gucci and RiRi in classic sheer Alaia…I’d say they definitely pushed the CBS memo to the limit. But hey, J.Lo seems to have toned it down from previous fashion choices at the Grammys. See all the pics from the red carpet HERE.
Justin Timberlake returned to the stage for his first live performance. Rihanna performed her new single with Mikky Ekko, and Bruno Mars paid tribute to Bob Marley with Sting, Rihanna and Ziggy Marley. And what…LL Cool J aka #Twitter promoter? Stick to hosting and NCIS: Los Angeles.
All in all, it was a FUN. show, but there was nothing exciting about that…well besides Beyonce cracking up at Ellen, and maybe Kelly Clarkson‘s acceptance speech.
Oh yeah, and Justin Bieber instagramming a selfie with the tag “never been so frustrated”…someone was bitter about the not being nominated.. Maybe next year Biebs.

Police were called to Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s Hollywood Hills mansion after the panic alarm button sounded on Friday. The police rushed to the scene via cars and choppers.
But when they arrived a nanny informed officers that one of the Jolie-Pitt children pressed the button by accident. Brad and Angie weren’t home when the incident occurred, so now the real mystery begins…trying to figure out which of their dozen half-a-dozen kids set off the alarm.
Brad and Angelina reportedly tied the knot in a secret ceremony on the island of Turks and Caicos on Christmas Day (12/25/12). More than 22 members of Brad and Angelina’s family were on the trip on Christmas break, including their kids- Maddox (11), Pax and Zahara (7), Shiloh (6), and the four-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne. The couple and their family were all staying in the exclusive Parrot Cay area of the island and were also joined on the trip by a team of 12 nannies to help them care for their six kids.
