Britney Spears may be sad and single but her lil sis is getting hitched! Brit’s 21-year old sister Jamie Lynn Spears announced that she is engaged!
Wait, Jamie is only 21? Doesn’t she feel a lot older? I guess I forget how old she is because she’s pretty irrelevant and she popped out a kid at 16.
Jamie has been dating this 30-year old for three years (do the math.. Since she was 17? Is that legal or just Louisiana?)… His name is Jamie Watson (weird. What do they call each other? Her dad’s name is Jamie too.. Too many dang Jamie’s and too many deal breakers already for me) and he popped the question to her.
Jamie Spears posted a picture of her and Jamie Watson showing off the ring with the caption “Guess what???”. Later she posted a pic of a close up of the diamond with the caption, ‘J #hedidgood’.
This is her second engagement in just her 21 short years. She’s actually tied with her big sis for her number of engagements. Jamie was first engaged to baby daddy Casey Alridge before they broke things off back in 2010.
Congrats Jamie and Jamie!

Simon Cowell needs someone extra special to save X-Factor.
Simon thought Britney Spears could do it but you should never invest in cray. Demi Lovato’s a decent addition to the show but she’s a one-trick pony. Now she just has a bigger platform to talk about bullying and eating disorders.
Britney and LA Reid are out.. No real confirmation if Demi is sticking around (asked back) for another season. So who’s going to be the stars to pull in the viewers for Season 3?
Simon had a genius thought and put two names out there- Katy Perry and John Mayer.
It would be brilliant for them to join the show. Not only are they both mega talented artists but they are an unstable couple.. or at least they used to be.
They’ve dated on and off for six months but they seem like they’ve been going strong for awhile. There’s even rumors of them buying a house together and an engagement coming up.. Guess we’ll have to see.
But Simon wants to offer them a package deal- $20mil for both of them to come on board. Seems a little low though considering he coughed up $15mil for Britney last year.
A source said, “Simon sees it as a ‘brilliant’ pairing. Katy is sassy, honest and a huge star, while John’s more reserved. Having them as rivals would be genius . . . if they had on-air bust-ups, it’d be un-missable.”
Last year after the X-Factor bloodbath, Simon didn’t confirm any of the replacement judges until May so this could just be the beginning of the long drawn out judging rumors.

First it was Britney Spears, now Adele is stealing a move from Beyonce!
It was rumored that Britney was in talks with Vegas about taking up a residency there. New mommy Adele heard that and thought that sounded like a great idea… and now she’s considering making the same move.
Sucks for Britney. Adele is a much bigger pull than she is… but Britney is a legend too.
Now Adele is copying another profitable idea.. this time from Beyonce.
Adele was asked what her next big career move was going to be and she answered, ”I don’t know, maybe I’ll do a HBO special like Beyonce did!”
She followed that up with, ”And then (it’s time for) a Tony, I’m not so sure. Maybe one day. Maybe someone will want to do a musical.”
Would you watch an Adele documentary? I would think it would be just as scripted and well rehearsed as Beyonce’s. I just don’t see Adele truly opening up to the world.

Britney Spears has fallen for a taken douche before. She took Kevin Federline away from his pregnant fiancée Shar Jackson and now she’s ready to do that again to another famous couple.
Britney has her sights set on another spoken for, famously hated baby daddy… She has been obsessed with Scott Disick ever since Khloe Kardashian introduced them on the X-Factor set last year.
An insider told the National Enquirer that “Britney first became attracted to Scott when he started appearing on ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians,’ but she says he’s ten times cuter in person.”
And she wants him really bad even though she knows he’s taken and she’d be breaking up another family. She bides her time until they can be together by watching ‘clips of him on Youtube’ and plastering ‘pictures of him all over her bedroom wall’.
Ok I know this story sounds a little far fetched and it’s from National Enquirer but unlikable DB’s is kinda Brit’s M.O. And who knows, maybe Lord Disick could keep her in line. It’s not like Kourtney’s ever going to marry him anyway.
Seriously, I wouldn’t want for Scott to leave his family. It’s best for the children to stick this on out.
But on the bright side, if Scott and Britney did hook up and have kids, there’s a chance that his kid could come out talented.
