Ryan Lochte’s sort of a big deal. He turned down a few shows before settling for his own reality show. He said that he turned down Dancing with the Stars and The Bachelor because he just wanted to do things his way by starring in his own reality show, one that’s going to get him as famous as his idol, Kim Kardashian!
And Ryan knows that people are making fun of him but he’s just chalking that up to haters. He said, “The more known you get in the public eye, the more haters you’re gonna have and that’s a given. But, you know what? All the haters, all the name calling goes through one ear [and] out the other and I don’t mind it. The way I look at it, the more haters I have, it means I’m doing something right.”
His new show ‘What Would Ryan Lochte Do?’ premiered on Sunday with less than impressive numbers. The Kardashians tell-all special aired right before the big debut and drew in 1.5 million viewers but Ryan’s show only got 807k viewers.
I’m sure that stings E!’s pride. Not everyone can be a Kardashian but nice try, Ryan Seacrest. But hey, there’s still a chance for that married Jonas kid… I think.

We can safely say that Selena Gomez is over the troublemaking Justin Bieber. After she met Brad Pitt at the MTV Movie Awards, the gorgeous 20-year-old told Ellen DeGeneres that she was scared after she found out Brad was in the audience watching her. I mean who wouldn’t The man is a GOD! I mean I would totally hide under a table if I was to meet him… and that’s exactly what Selena did!
“Yea, so I was in my dressing room and I had just finished performing. They knocked on my door and they said that Brad Pitt would like to come in and I was like, ‘He can come in.’ I was trying to play cool and be really nice. As soon as he walked out I ran and I hide under the craft service table for like two minutes because I couldn’t believe it was happening.”
Aw how cute! Pitt made Gomez nervous. She even told DeGeneres, “He’s so pretty…”
When DeGeneres asked how she was doing and if she was happy post-Justin Bieber split, she replied, “I am. I met Brad Pitt. I’m great.”
Well, glad she moved on from that awful influence Justin Bieber!
In addition to her interview with Ellen, she also performed her new hit single “Come and Get It” on Dancing with the Stars that was less than stellar. After her MTV Movie Award performance, Gomez received a lot of heat for not having the best vocals, but that didn’t stop her from performing it again. This time she lip-synced the performance…not really making it any better, but it was at least better than her performance at the MTV Movie Awards.
Even if she has great music, maybe she should just stick to acting…or just not performing her songs live.

Bachelor beefcake Sean Lowe might be new to the Dancing with the Stars cast but he’s not new to being on TV. He’s done this before and he knows how to look his best while the cameras are rolling.
Sean has turned into a huge diva on the DWTS. He supposedly pulled a Mariah Carey and asked to be shot from certain angles, acts disrespectful to crew members, and allegedly said, “This show needs me.”
If he’s this demanding on a dancing competition show, imagine what kind of TV hogging groomzilla he will be on his wedding day.

After keeping secrets for months, Sean Lowe is finally coming clean. He is out in the open with his new fiancée Catherine Giudici and he let another secret off of his chest. He’s joining Dancing with the Stars.
He made the not-so shocking announcement on Good Morning America. He’s teaming up with pro dancer Peta Murgatroyd, who won last season with Green Bay Packers wide receiver Donald Driver.
And DWTS isn’t the only TV time that Sean has planned in the near future. He’s ready to get hitched as soon as possible, and that’s going to be televised as well.
DWTS premieres next Monday on ABC… and there is no wedding date for Sean and Catherine as of yet.

The Season 16 cast of Dancing With the Stars was just announced and I’m a little bummed…neither Sean Lowe nor Emily Maynard were on the list. Frantically reading through the list of names, I had High School tryout flashbacks — who made the cut??
Apparently the rumored participation of Emily and/or Sean was just ‘manufactured for publicity purposes’ (cough…’Haylor‘).
