If you had to guess who checked into rehab over the weekend, you might would think, or maybe hope, it was Justin Bieber, Lindsay Lohan, Lil Wayne, but it wasn’t.
Glee star Cory Monteith, who plays Finn Hudson on the show, checked into rehab Sunday night for substance addiction.
His rep released a statement saying, “He graciously asks for your respect and privacy as he takes the necessary steps towards recovery.”
Cory is 30 and this is actually his 2nd stint in rehab. He went once before when he was 19 years old. He said at the time that he was doing any and every kind of drug and his life was just out of control by the time he dropped out of high school at 16.
His girlfriend Lea Michele is supporting his decision. She said, “I love and support Cory and will stand by him through this. I am grateful and proud he made this decision.”

BACK in Season 2, Glee did a ‘tribute’ episode titled “Britney/Brittany” to one of the show’s idols—Ms. Britney Spears. That episode was called ‘a love letter’ to Brit and highlights her rise to fame.
NOW in Season 4, Glee did a new episode that’s also called a ‘tribute’ to the pop princess—dubbed “Britney 2.0.” This past Thursday, the choir kids told the other side to the story…Brit’s dramatic downfall…shaved head and all!
Now it’s being reported that Britney Spears’ manager Larry Rudolph is “LIVID” and that he had “no idea this was coming.”
We’d imagine he’s also pretty darn confused. How exactly is recreating his client’s humiliating public breakdown—on a highly rated TV show for all to see—a ‘tribute?’ Glee could have at least left out the paparazzi umbrella beat down…
But, here’s the thing—the episode was about the Glee kids having a really rough week, and how else could they convey that particular brand of pop misery WITHOUT bringing up Britney Spears? It just wouldn’t have been believable.

Sure, nannies help…as do expensive personal gourmet chefs…
But, one thing they can’t help with is — self discipline, which Kate seems to have plenty of, in addition to great genes.
Kate’s been dancing up a storm on screen, as of late. First on the big screen in Nine and now on the TV screen in Glee, which returns September 13th.
Kate plays “Cassandra July,” a dance instructor at Rachel’s (Lea Michele) new school — New York Academy for Dramatic Arts. She is supposed to be mentoring Rachel, but don’t expect any female bonding — we hear Ms. July is a real B-word!
You can kinda sense that in this spicy photo of Kate clinging to her male dance partner, while flaunting her rockin’ post-baby bod in a leotard and fishnets.
Bingham, her one year old baby boy, was her first child with Muse rocker Matt Bellamy. Her other son, Ryder, with ex-husband Chris Robinson, was born in January 2004.

Pitch Perfect features an all-girl college a cappella group in desperate need of some fresh(man) blood. Anna Kendrick (Twilight; 50/50) is discovered in her dorm’s shower (also said to be XFactor‘s next scouting location).
Anna leads her singing group into 2012 with Glee-worthy mash-ups, 8 Mile-worthy showdowns and Bridesmaids-worthy raunch. Spearheading the awesomely-offensive comedy efforts is Rebel Wilson (Ausie comic from Bridesmaids). Her characters’s name is ‘Fat Amy,’ which she calls herself “so “bit**s don’t say it behind my back.”
Which do you think Pitch Perfect is most like?
A. Bridesmaids
B. Glee
C. 8 Mile
D. Yo Mama
E. All of the above

Remember how Lindsay Lohan was crying after they took a stab at her on Glee?
Gwyneth Paltrow was teaching a lesson when she said to the class, “Lindsay Lohan is totally crazy, right? How many times has Lindsay been to rehab?” Lindsay was actually watching the episode at the Betty Ford rehab clinic when it aired. Guess it hit too close to home for her. She was supposedly heartbroken and embarrassed. Dina Lohan even went on record saying that Gwyneth went overboard and shouldn’t have made such cruel jokes during a difficult time in their life.
But let bygones be bygones right? Lindsay is trying to make a comeback and will make an appearance on any show that will take her, including Glee.
Lindsay is in final negotiations with the show to guest star in one of their season finales. She will be playing herself as a celebrity judge at Nationals.
Whoopi Goldberg is also going to show up for a few Glee episodes. She is scheduled to appear on the May 1st episode and could stick around for another three to deliver the verdict on whether or not the crew will be attending the NYADA.
