Tina Simpson didn’t exactly handle things well when she found out that her husband of 35 years, Papa Joe Simpson, had been having gay affairs.
She found evidence that he was having an affair with 21-year old Bryce Chandler Hill and before she even confronted Joe about it, she made deadly threats.
A source told Radar Online that Tina wrote a detailed suicide note that threatened to shoot herself and Joe. Rather than follow through on the threats, she flew out to NY to confront Joe about the affair… but she left the note at home and Joe found it when he returned.
He made a copy of the note and used it against her in the divorce settlement. Tina eventually offered him half of the Simpson fortune.

Jessica Simpson’s parents are going through a divorce and they have been for awhile. Not like Kim and Kris awhile but it’s dragged on for several months. And guess what they are fighting over- Jessica’s fortune!
Papa Joe Simpson was managing Jess’ career, which didn’t exactly go anywhere. And Tina Simpson was handling her fashion line, which took off and is worth billions! Well Joe wants a piece of that money pie and Tina was fighting him over it.. but now she’s giving in.
She just wants the marriage to be over! Joe made her look like a fool and she’s ready to get on with her life. She offered him a 50/50 settlement if he’ll just sign the papers.
Of course, Jessica isn’t too happy about it. She’s been angry at her father ever since it came out that she was gay cheating on her mother and now he’s taking her money. This is going to put an even bigger wedge in their relationship.
There are also reports about lil sis Ashlee. She’s been known to be a booze hound in the past (Jess too before she ended up preg for two years) but lately it’s gotten out of control. Her ex-husband Pete Wentz is considering taking full-time custody of their 4-year old son Bronx until she can get her life back in order. He fears for their son’s safety while she’s out-of-control partying. He’s voiced his concerns to Tina and now she’s got even more to worry about.
So sad for this family. I miss the days when their own problems were a reality show and Ashlee lip-synching.

Sometimes dads do weird things to their hot, famous daughters.
Like when Joe Simpson casually commented on his sexy daughter Jessica’s boobs. He said, “Jessica never tries to be sexy. … She just is sexy. If you put her in a T-shirt or you put her in a bustier, she’s sexy in both. She’s got double D’s! You can’t cover those suckers up!” But now that we know he’s gay, you know he meant those comments lovingly and it would only be weird if he said that about his son.
Well now here’s Hulk Hogan, doing yet another inappropriate thing with his daughter.
Once he was photographed rubbing tanning oil all over Brooke’s butt and in between her legs at the pool (See those pics HERE). That was about the time that he started dating his now wife, Jennifer McDaniel, who looks like a blonde carbon copy of Brooke. The whole thing oil rubdown situation was just weird, dirty and the wrong kind of fatherly…
And now Hulk makes another perve move on his daughter. He tweeted a picture of her legs, along with the caption, “Brooke’s legs’. Most dads want their daughters to cover up but he’s broadcasting her legs for everyone to see.
He took the picture down after people started commenting that it was creepy.
Brooke sees nothing wrong with her papa lusting over her legs. She tweeted, “A dad can’t even be proud of his daughter without sickos makin it something it’s not. Really?? Go back to your farm animals. #ignorant”
Agree with Brooke or think its a little oogy?

Joe Simpson wants to score more of that family fortune in his divorce so he’s moving the case from Texas to Cali in hopes of a higher settlement. He thinks the judge will overlook his ‘indiscretions’ and can get more money since Cali is the no-fault divorce state.
Tina already tried settling the divorce by offering him $100mil of her $300mil fortune but he’s holding out for more.. plus, he wants his fair share of profits from Jessica’s fashion line. Remember, Tina is the breadwinner (smart one) because she was the only parent in charge of Jess’ fashion line. Joe managed her career, including the music side, which pretty much tanked.
Here’s what a source told Radar Online about Joe’s divorce greed- “Joe’s desperate to get his hands on the pot of gold and is pushing his lawyers to move the case to Los Angeles. Texas is both a fault and a no-fault divorce state, so he’s concerned that Tina may be favored by a judge there, after all she was the one that filed and is seemingly the wronged party.
“So, by moving the divorce to California, which is a no-fault divorce state only, Joe thinks he will likely get more sympathetic treatment and hopefully a larger chunk of Tina’s wealth.
“Last year, Tina’s earnings were in the millions, while Joe only made around $200k. This was down to Tina’s percentage pay from the Jessica Simpson Collection, which she manages.
“Joe wants a more even distribution of the wealth. Tina has already offered him a settlement of around $100 million, but Joe is holding out for even more.”
Do you think Tina should have to cough up more money in the divorce? Joe still may have some earnings if Jessica’s upcoming sitcom is successful.. If not, he just has to rely on Ashlee’s non-existent career while Jessica’s fashion line continues to bring in the big money. (Speaking of Ashlee, how glad is she that Beyonce was busted lip-synching? Faking it at SNL doesn’t look so bad anymore..)
But then again, Joe was the one guilty of cheating during their marriage so maybe Tina should stick it to him in the divorce. (“Cha-ching! – Elin Woods)

Tina Simpson, who was a momager way before Kris Jenner ever stole that title, wants to take a page right out of the Kardashian’s book. She wants to open a boutique that carries only Jessica Simpson’s fashion label.
She’s had this idea for awhile because she’s always looking for ways to expand her daughter’s label but she’s afraid to make any big money moves right now because of the looming divorce.
She’s helped build Jessica’s fashion empire from the beginning, without any help from her papa Joe, so she doesn’t want him benefiting from any of the profits during the divorce. She’s put the clothing store on hold until their divorce is settled so he can’t reap any of the benefits…. which is fine with Jessica.
She doesn’t want her dad getting his hands on her money. She still hasn’t even forgiven Joe for cheating on her mom and blindsiding the family by coming out of the closet.
Joe is working as an executive producer on her upcoming sitcom for NBC but they will manage to still avoid each other there. Joe won’t be on set while Jess is there but will come by afterwards to handle the business side of things.
Joe can put in his two cents on how the show should work but Jessica will have the final call.. Wonder if she will decide to out him on the show?
