Cue the somber music… The Jersey Shore is coming to an end.
“Why? I can’t imagine why they would cancel such a successful show”, said no one.
Yeppers. It’s true. After six seasons, the Jersey Shore is coming to an end.. about three seasons too late. But don’t worry! There is still one more season in the can and Snooki and her meatball baby will probably keep on doing spin-offs for awhile.
But is anyone really disappointed about this show ending? It became a success because everyone was such a train wreck but now, Deena’s the only one still making a spectacle of herself.
J-woww has been a boring, plastic surgery disaster for awhile, Snooki spent the last year pregnant and judging everyone else for continuing to live their drunken lives. Mike the Situation is sober…. And we thought he was before even before then. Ronnie and Sam are only entertaining when they are fighting, which they haven’t been. And Vinny and Pauly D are only there to offset the DB quota.
So thank you MTV for introducing some quality reality people into this world where the Kardashians have way too much importance. Goodbye Jersey Shore and good riddance!
Leave a commentSome of these reality shows will never go away. The Kardashian’s don’t believe in such a thing as over-exposure. They already have several shows and are still looking to give Kim Kardashian and Kanye West a spin-off show about their luxurious life with a big focus on fashion and music. Ugh!
But another show that’s heading into overkill territory is Jersey Shore. That show has seen success for the past six seasons but now they are handing out spin-off shows to all the cast members and not getting good results.. The Pauly D Project flopped, Snooki and Jwoww spinoff isn’t bringing in the ratings. They are currently filming the 7th season with a sober Situation and a very preggo Snooki but they still want to keep the shows coming. So the next Jersey Shore member to get a spin-off is the bickering couple, Ronnie and Sammi. They are looking to move in together so the MTV film crew wants to follow them around and get footage of their not-so-happy life together.

The Jersey Shore just started filming the 6th season and they are already bringing the drama. Deena got arrested Friday after some day drinking. She was being rowdy and dancing on the street while holding up traffic. They arrested her for disorderly conduct and her parents bailed her out of jail later that day. Jwoww is limping around on crutches after being involved in a bar brawl. And some nude photos of a pre-preggers Snooki hit the web yesterday…. But the one who’s not bringing the drama is Mike the Situation. Mike is committed to staying sober since his stint in rehab this year. He’s still going out to the club with his housemates but he’s not drinking and he’s getting taunted for it. He’s embarrassed that everyone is harassing him but he refuses to stay home. He doesn’t think that going out will harm his recovery but his sober coach is concerned that he’s close to relapsing.
But the Sitch and the rest of the Shore gang is still pulling in all the big bucks for their shenanigans. Sitch, Snooks and Pauly D are the top earners, earning $150k an episode. That’s $2.55mil a season. Jwoww gets about $100k per show, Vinny gets $90k an episode. Ronnie and Sammi bring in $80k each and the newest member Deena only gets $40k a show.. but an insider says they expect for her to get a big pay raise after making out with girls and getting arrested.
Leave a commentIt’s dangerous being a cast member of the Jersey Shore, especially for the girls. First, a hungover, but free, Deena Cortese got bailed out of jail by mommy and daddy. She was arrested after stumbling out of a bar alone (during the daytime), dancing in the streets and holding up traffic. Thank god the cops cut her solo routine short and spared her further embarrassment. (But there is video! Check that out below.) Plus, waking up in a jail cell was probably better than some random juice head’s bed.
Then, a gimpy, but guilty JWoww was spotted using crutches with a heavily-bandaged foot. We’d feel sorry for her, if she hadn’t suffered the injuries while whooping butt in a bar brawl with the boys. We’ll have to wait to see how that all went down, because the Jersey Shore crew isn’t giving away many details, other than that ‘they were provoked.’ Wait, isn’t that what you guys said last time? And the time before that? And the time before…
Wow, that is what we call a rough weekend! (And what Jersey Shore calls a fun Friday afternoon.)

She and Jwoww did some baby shopping in Manhattan over the weekend and Snooki was seen purchasing a giant pink giraffe. She said that if her baby was a girl, she will be ‘pretty, popular and wear animal prints’. .. We know how much Snooks loves animal print everything. She recently revealed that animal print is going to play a big part in her club-themed wedding.
So is she having a guidette or just playing with the media? Guess we will have to wait for a formal announcement or see when this Jersey spawn is born!
