Paris Hilton has struggled to stay relevant for the last several years.
She attempted reality TV again but not only did that venture fail miserably, she was also upstaged by Brooke Mueller. Pretty bad when a struggling sober Brooke is the most interesting person on your show.
She’s tried the DJ thing but didn’t really have a lot of success with that. Some people that saw her spinning records called it “SNL worthy”.
But maybe she can finally find success in this career path? Paris is going to make some more music. Yeah, she’s tried it in the past but now she actually has some good backing behind her. Lil Wayne signed her onto Cash Money Records. That means that she’s working on the same label as Nicki Minaj and Drake.
Paris says that she will release an album of House Music this summer. Lil Wayne and Afrojack will be contributing on her album.
Paris promised this album would be ‘different’ from her self-titled debut album that she put out in 2006.

No one of the judges are safe on American Idol. Thanks to the record setting low ratings, everyone is getting FIRED!
It was announced last week that Randy Jackson is quitting Idol after 12 years but likely, they were just in a good position to fire him this year. They tried to get rid of the dawg last year but he managed to squeeze another season and paycheck out of them, likely because he helped get Mariah Carey on board.. He’s been Mariah’s manager since the beginning and she’s probably the reason he was still here for this season. But it’s rumored that she fired him as her manager as well. Randy’s just getting the pink slip from everybody!
But it’s not only Randy who’s getting the Idol boot.. Everyone else is getting axed too.
Due to the exceptionally low ratings, Nicki Minaj, Mariah Carey and Keith Urban will all be out with Randy at the end of this season. The official announcement will be made soon.
No word on who will grace the judging panel next year but lots of names have been thrown out there, ranging from Harry Connick Jr. to Justin Bieber to Kanye West.

Zimbio.com conducted a poll to find out who was everyone’s favorite judge EVER on American Idol.
I’m not a big fan of the show but if I had to pick someone, I’d go for Paula Abdul.. Everyone loves a screw up and it was fun to watch her get sloshed on TV. Plus, I respect her work. I still sing Cold Hearted Snake sometimes. Or Steven Tyler. He was random, funny and kinda creepy old guy.
Well the Idol fans don’t agree with me on that one. According to the poll on Zimbio, first timer Keith Urban is everyone’s favorite judge.
Really? Again, don’t watch this show and I haven’t seen a single episode of Idol this year but I still know(ish) what’s going on. It’s my job to be informed of all this gossip stuff (and I must say, I do a good(ish) job) and I have heard NOTHING about him this year. It’s all been about everyone’s displeasure for Nicki Minaj.
So here’s the list of the favorite judges to ever be on Idol.. Do you agree with it?

American Idol is missing that wow factor that they hoped to get this season after a major judging overhaul.
They brought in Mariah Carey for the big bucks but she’s just not delivering. The only thing that she’s brought to the Idol panel is some bickering with Nicki Minaj but even their cat fights aren’t entertaining.
Well the Idol execs realized that they made a mistake and wanted to switch her out for a former judge mid-season.
They see the error of their ways and they want Jennifer Lopez back! She was popular on the show and would be the big draw that they need to save the show!
But Mariah caught wind of this plan and threatened to sue if she was replaced so they are stuck with her… just like Nick Cannon.
Sources say that they are still negotiating to get J.Lo to appear on the season finale. And it’s rumored that the whole judging panel could be replaced next season.
Sucks too because I really enjoyed not watching Nicki Minaj and Keith Urban on my least favorite singing competition show that I don’t watch.

Lil Wayne was rushed to the hospital after another seizure scare.
He was taken to the hospital on Tuesday after suffering multiple seizures. He was released the next day but then he was rushed back to the hospital “just hours later, after one of his bodyguards found him in his room, on the floor and unconscious.”
Sources said that Lil Wayne went on a sizzurp binge after leaving the hospital and that caused his condition to worsen. He had to get his stomach pumped three times to get all of drugs out of his system.
Now here’s where the story gets confusing. TMZ reported that Lil Wayne wouldn’t stabilize in the hospital and they put him in a medically induced coma. Someone even reported that he was read his last rites.
But shortly after the story broke, Lil Wayne (or someone on his account) tweeted, “I’m good everybody. Thanks for the prayers and love.”
Now a source told Us magazine that “TMZ was so off base. Wayne is fine. He drank too much Sizzurp to get a better high. He needs rehab but he’s not close to death or anything. He’s fine and just coming down off the high.”
Another source said, “He’s tried to quit. I’m pretty sure he wants to quit. But he would have to go away and get help for that, which he isn’t ready to do. I’d like to think this would scare him into to stopping, but it’s not that simple. I think quitting cold would kill him for sure. He’s needs rehab, but I’m not sure who can talk him into that. Maybe all this talk will get him think twice.”
Nicki Minaj, Drake and other Young Money artists have been spotted visiting Lil Wayne in the hospital. No word on when he’ll be released. For now, a friend says that “he’s good, just resting”.
