Desiree Hartsock didn’t luck out in the love department with Sean Lowe on The Bachelor but she’s getting another chance to find a fiancé. She’s the lucky lady that gets to hand out the roses on The Bachelorette this season.
Twenty guys are vying for Des’s attention and they have to do something memorable to get her to notice them, right?
One guy named Kasey tells her that he works in social media.. and he hash tags every word. Not just on Twitter and Instagram. He verbally hash tags when he talks. #hashtagswerentmeanttouseinconversations
Nick the magician tries to win her over by giving her a paper rose, lighting it on fire and turning it into a real rose. “Magicians are hot!”, said no one ever, except for Holly Madison during her Cris Angel phase. Cringe.

Desiree Hartsock won everyone over in this season of The Bachelor but was eliminated after hometown visits. Everyone thought she would definitely be the last one standing but unfortunately her “scary” brother had to go and ruin that for her.
Usually whoever comes in third place earns the right to grace us with their presence as the next season’s Bachelor or Bachelorette…BUT Des was spotted in Los Angeles where she was being followed by cameras at the Santa Monica Pier.
It has been reported that she was in final talks to be the new Bachelorette so is that the case. Of course the crew would be sworn to secrecy but that never really stopped them before. Why else would she be prancing around the pier all happy and giddy while shooting what looks like a promo for the show?
“Des was smiling and was happy. She definitely seemed like she was enjoying herself,” a witness at the pier told E! News.
Des was even looking off into the sunset with her cotton candy in hand. How Bachelorette of her.. They could at least be kind of discrete about it!
But of course reps for the show still aren’t talking and the Bachelorette will be revealed during After the Final Rose ceremony, airing after The Bachelor finale on Monday.
Leave a commentJustin Bieber’s mama, Pattie Mallette, scored big on birthin’ the Biebs but he’s been the only man in her life for a very long time. She fessed up that she hasn’t had relations with a man in 16 years. She says she’s not gonna give it up until she gets married but then she went out with a playa.
Ryan Seacrest acted as wingman and set her up with a newly single celebrity. He set her up with the host of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, Chris Harrison.
Chris just separated from his wife of 18 years.. For some, that might would mean that he’s been as sexless as Pattie but it’s been rumored that Chris has been hooking up with some of the contestants on the show, namely Emily Maynard.
But despite his reputation, he did score a date with the other sorta holy virgin, Pattie. They didn’t go anywhere romantic. They actually went to a Justin Bieber concert because I’m sure nothing turns her on more than watching her son perform but Pattie says that she had a great time.
She tweeted after the show, “Had a great night with Chris Harrison. Thanks Ryan Seacrest for setting it up.”

Leave a commentEmily Maynard acted like a lady in front of the Bachelorette cameras because she’s a ‘mother and a role model’ but behind the scenes she was putting out.
Just days before she accepted a proposal from Jef Holm, she was doing the deed with runner-up Arie Luyendyk. Apparently, the two got romantic in their fantasy suite so Arie thought that he was the one. When Em picked Jef, Arie stormed off the set screaming “You just slept me.” Of course, that part wasn’t shown on TV.
Sources close to the show say that Emily isn’t promiscuous, she was just truly in love with these two people and the final decision wasn’t easy for her.

The Bachelorette Finale aired LIVE last night, because as ABC put it, “so that we can bring you the latest news.” Host Chris Harrison got a tad carried away with the ‘live feed’ and acted like it was a CNN breaking report; his awkward shout-out to the victims of the Colorado shooting sounded as phony as ever. Do you really think that the victims’ families cared enough to tune to see if poor Emily Maynard finally found love? Harrison also sounded super silly after Emily made her final decision, “Emily just SHOCKED America.”
Live telecast EVENT? Is this what the show has come to? The romantic connections formed on The Bachelor/Bachelorette franchise are so fragile that it needs to be live—just in case anyone should get cold feet, have a change of heart or surprise Emily by giving her his diary? (Yep, the runner up flew to Charlotte after being awarded the Silver metal and planned to confront Emily, but once he got there, realized it seemed nuts, so instead he left his diary at her doorstep. Much saner.
