Faith Hill announced last month that she was giving up the Sunday Night Football gig after six long years. She said that someone else could “rock the open”.
And now that job has gone to… Carrie Underwood! She will debut her version of “Waiting All Day for Sunday Night” for the September 8th game between the Dallas Cowboys and New York Giants… Awkward since her ex-boyfriend Tony Romo is the quarterback for the Cowboys.
But Carrie is happy to take the job! She said, “For me it just seemed like something fun to do. Especially seeing Faith get that hype. It seemed like a good fit and a good time. I am thrilled to be a part of NBC’s ‘Sunday Night Football’ and am so honored they asked me. I have always loved football season, and it is so exciting to now become part of it every Sunday night!”

Chace Crawford is following in his sister’s footsteps. He’s keeping it in the sports family.
Chace’s little sis, Candice Crawford, is married to Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo. And Chace managed to snag a pro in the know too.. No, he’s not dating a football player. He’s dating the hottest sideline reporter, Erin Andrews!
They’ve been spotted on a few dates lately. Recently, they hung out (and sucked face) at a Purity Vodka event… Wait, Purity Vodka? That sounds more like an event for Tim Tebow.
Anyway after that first public appearance, they’ve been seen out on a few other dates. Sources say that Chace loves the fact that Erin is already so established. I would think he would be jealous of her success. Isn’t Erin the bigger name brand in the couple? I mean, Chace is kind of a one trick pony that’s only known for his role on ‘Gossip Girl’. At least Erin is well known for being the hot sideline reporter, her stint on Dancing with the Stars, and that revealing peephole video.
Leave a commentThe White House Correspondents Dinner is tomorrow night and some big name, respectful celebrities have been invited. George Clooney, Reese Witherspoon, Viola Davis, Claire Danes, Zooey Deschanel, Tony Romo, Josh Hutcherson all scored an invite to be there…. As well as Kim Kardashian and Lindsay Lohan.
They didn’t get an actual invite themselves. They were both invited by the Fox News Channel and will be sharing a table together. Kim is bringing her mom Kris Jenner along, and Lindsay is bringing her rep and her lawyer, I guess in case she needs an immediate bail out.
Greta Van Susteren is the one who invited Lindsay. She said that the reason that she invited her is because she ‘loves comebacks and would like for her to succeed.’ She’s proud that Lindsay finally has a new movie coming out and says that things are finally looking up for her.
Rosie O’Donnell can’t say the same thing about Lindsay’s future though. She’s using her new gig on the Today Show panel to harp on Lindsay’s problems. Yesterday, she brought up Lindsay again and said that she doesn’t want her to suffer the same fate as Whitney Houston. Check it out!

Tony Romo and Candice Crawford just announced that they welcomed their baby boy on Monday. They named him Hawkins Crawford Romo. And Uncle Chace Crawford is already bragging about the new papa. He said, “Tony’s over-the-moon excited about it. He’s just such a wonderful person. He was born ready to have a family.”

A few of her famous friends were at her Charlotte’s Web themed shower, like Jessica Alba, Ellen Pompeo, and of course her little sis Ashlee and her 3 year old baby Bronx. But someone really wasn’t thinking when they gave her this as a gift, baby’s first Dallas Cowboys football annual.
Now Jess is a Texas native and a fan of the team, but the book was filled with pictures of her ex-boyfriend, Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo. Jessica knew that her fiancé Eric Johnson wouldn’t want their baby seeing the other football player that was in her life, especially since Romo’s career is more impressive than his!
