Who ever knew that funny man Zach Galifianakis had such a sensitive side?
He brought this 87-year old homeless lady to the premiere of the Hangover 3.. and you might have seen her before. She’s gone to a lot of red carpet events with Zach.
Here is their story…. Twenty years ago when a then 25-year old Zach was trying to get discovered, he met this elderly Laundromat volunteer named Elizabeth ‘Mimi’ Haist. They became good friends and stayed in touch until a few years ago when Zach went all mainstream.
The next time that he heard about Mimi, Zach found out that she had become homeless. He quickly found her a one bedroom/ one bath apartment to live in and has been covering her rent ever since.
He also started taking her to red carpet events and sends her in his place when he cannot attend.
Mimi said, “If he’s in town, he takes me. Otherwise he lets me take a friend. I dress up nice and a friend helps me with my makeup. It’s fun, not something I’ve ever dreamed I’d experience. The limo takes me home afterwards.”
She also said that she enjoys waving to all the fans that are taking her photo and have no idea who she is.

The Hangover was an epic movie… Hangover II- Not so much. Too much of the exact same thing. I’m holding out hope for the Hangover III.. There’s still time to save the trilogy!
But would The Hangover have been such a huge success if it starred Jake Gyllenhaal instead of Zach Galifianakis? Uh, hell no but the director Todd Phillips said that was the original plan.
At first, he wanted a younger, annoying brother that had to tag along on the bachelor trip. Obviously, the character would have been tamer, cuter and would have had a lesser role in the movie.
Then he decided that it would be more awkward if it was an older brother that still lived at home. Jonah Hill and Thomas Haden Church were also considered for the role… but Zach stole the part! And he made the movie.
Paul Rudd was also being considered for Bradley Cooper‘s role.
Lindsay Lohan was also considered for the role of the stripper but that part went to Heather Graham.
Thank God and ewww. I think the director made the right choices.
The Hangover III comes out Memorial Day weekend and hopefully, it brings the same kind of funny that the first movie did.
Leave a commentJason Momoa was recently stalked by one of TMZ’s not-so-smooth camera men. He asked Jason about his physical fitness regimen; in particular if he did “CrossFit.”
Sensing that TMZ was egging him, Jason offered an annoyed “no.” Continuing to be probed about maintaining his fit physique, Conan the Barbarian AKA Jason Momoa shot back, “I f**k a lot.”
If there’s any truth to his answer, then it should be noted that a recent study found that sex only burns 21 calories, which means Jason is getting it A LOT.
Hey, enjoy it while it lasts. Sexual primes don’t seem to last forever. Jason’s still pretty young (33). However, in the next few years, he may actually wanna check out CrossFit, unless he doesn’t mind being mistaken for funny man Zach Galifianakis (43).

The Will Ferrell/Zach Galifianakis politically incorrect comedy is hitting theaters today, but the two men have been pounding the pavement for weeks on ‘the campaign trail.’
To get even deeper into character, the two comedians politicians have been jetting around to an insane number of US cities. “The Whistle Stop Tour” has been holding fake news conferences, pouring coffee at local cafes, kissing babies and throwing out competing first pitches (while simultaneously having pizza delivered on the field) at a Chicago Cubs game.
Their first “news conference” was at LA’s The Grove (an outdoor mall). Here’s how that hilarity went down:
Will Ferrell: Thank you for coming out to the historic Grove.
Zach Galifianakis: Yes, thank you, where even the homeless people are fake.
Will Ferrell: Since 1850 when the Gap family discovered this sacred plot of land.
Zach Galifianakis: Baby Gap family.
Will Ferrell: Sorry, I stand corrected.
Further into ‘the campaign trail the comedy-duo was asked what its been like to work together?
WF: Outside of Zach’s exhaustive, endless stories about his life that are not interesting, we’ve had a great time and we would love to work together again in some capacity.
ZG: Well, if you’ll stop talking about your Fabergé egg collection …
WF: That’s something I’ll always talk about. I’ll never stop talking about it.
ZG: But it is the same story over and over again. Maybe if you get a new egg …
WF: That’s ridiculous!

Zach Galifianakis is engaged! No one even knew that the funnyman popped the question but he is sending out invites to a late summer wedding.
The 42-year old is taking the plunge with his longtime girlfriend, 29-year old Quinn Lundberg on August 11th. They sent out formal invitations to their wedding and Zack included a drawing of himself and his bride. He made himself look like a troll but drew Quinn as a tall, stunning blonde princess.
